Catalytic Leadership – Knowing

In this next article in the series of “Catalytic Leadership”, we will see about another important trait – “Knowing”.

As usual, a story!

A man was staying in the 10th floor in a hotel. He was just gazing outside from the balcony.

Suddenly he heard a voice shouting nearby the swimming pool

“Bob, your son has fallen into the pool”

Immediately, without hesitation, he jumped from the 10th floor into the swimming pool

Half way down, he thought, “I don’t have a son…”

Furthermore, it also occurred to him, “Forget about a son, I’m not even married”

Finally, he realized that “I’m not Bob, I am Will”

Catalytic leaders don’t act on impulse but they know clearly on what they have to do at that particular instance is.

They know who they are, who they work with and what their purpose and direction is.
